Sammy’s Aloha Watersports
Sammy’s Aloha Watersports is mobile watersports instruction school based in Oahu, Hawai’i. We are a locally owned and operated family business that was built on a foundation of experience and passion. Owner and founder Samuel Perez Hults is a competitive watersports athlete with 15 years of experience in teaching others to share his love for the ocean. Originally from the Dominican Republic, Sammy began his career as a champion freestyle and wave windsurfer, winning numerous competitions in his home country and earning him the chance to compete internationally. Back home, Sammy helped work with youth in his neighborhood to develop an interest in watersports and teach them a healthy and positive way of life.

SUP Lessons
Stand up paddleboarding, or SUP, has exploded in popularity the past few years – and we know why. Paddleboarding is a great way to explore the ocean, and it’s a fun group activity for families and people of all fitness levels. Improve your balance and strengthen your core as you glide through the water at your own speed. Beginners start in flat water conditions, paddling along a canal or in calm seas, while intermediate riders can try their hand at catching waves. You’ll love your lesson because paddleboarding is quick to learn, and you can make it as easy or challenging as you like. Even Sammy’s dog Kimo loves cruising on the board! Daily at 8am, 11am, 2pm
What’s Included:
Level 1 – Beginner
– Newbies start out by learning the basics on shore: body form, positioning, standing up, and paddling techniques
– Once on the water, you’ll work on balance – starting on your knees and then standing up – and turns as you glide through the gentle waters
Level 2 – Intermediate
– Once you can comfortably paddle on your own, we’ll help you pick up speed and catch your first wave
– Intermediate riders are ready for more challenging conditions – meaning more excitement out on the water
