Private Lesson
Experience surfing for the first time, or for your hundredth time, with a one-on-one surf session customized to your individual skill level. All Gone Surfing Hawaii lessons start on the sand with ocean awareness and safety. Then we get you right into the surf for a rush of wind and waves. No worries, our licensed instructors are trained in first aid and lifeguard CPR. Once in the water, we show you how to read the waves, position your take off, and the etiquette of wave riding.
Daily at 8am, 10:30am, 1pm, 3:30pm
What’s Included:
- 15-minute land demo focusing on fundamental technique, ocean awareness, and safety
- 1 hour and 45 minutes wave riding and etiquette
- A licensed instructor, trained in first aid and lifeguard CPR
- Rash guard
- Surfboard

Additional Information
- Flotation devices are not allowed and participants who cannot swim will not be able to participate.
- We are a mobile company. All information about location and what to bring will be available
- You have an option to book a photographer
- 48-hour notice required to change lesson date/time or be eligible for a full refund.
- Participants who cannot take part in lesson due to inability to swim or any other factor (included but not limited to pregnancy and/or intoxication) that our instructors deem as unsafe are not eligible for a refund.
- Lessons that are ended early due to seasickness, extreme fatigue or any other factor that our instructors deem necessary to end the lesson will not be eligible for a refund.
- Lessons will proceed as scheduled rain or shine. We do not go out in unsafe conditions. Unsafe conditions are determined by Gone Surfing Hawaii and are 100% refundable.
Semi-Private Surfing Lesson
Jump into some fun with friends in a group surf session — meant for just two to three — perfectly suited to your group’s abilities. All Gone Surfing Hawaii lessons start on the sand with ocean awareness and safety. Then we get you right into the surf for a rush of wind and waves. No worries, our licensed instructors are trained in first aid and lifeguard CPR. Once in the water, we show you how to read the waves, position your take off, and the etiquette of wave riding.
