Surf Lesson

Our experienced instructors are here to break surfing down for you and make your surfing experience fun, easy, and rewarding. Your 3-hour lesson begins with an hour introduction on land before heading out to the water. We go over falling safely and ocean etiquette. We practice going quickly from laying to standing the easiest way possible. You’ll learn how to catch waves, what type of board to use as a beginner, where are the best surf spots for beginners, and more.

Leave everything to us. All you have to do is sign up and bring a good attitude and we will take care of the rest. Of course the ability to swim is necessary, but that is about it. Children are always welcome here at Surf n Sea, so long as they can swim and parents will be accompanying them. For every lesson offered, all the necessary equipment is provided.

Display price is for a beginner lesson. You may also book an intermediate lesson for $170 per person and an advanced surf safari for $220 per person.

Standup Paddle Lessons

Have you always wanted to learn to surf but need to work on your balance? Ease your way into the sport by trying out a SUP—significantly easier than surfing but more physically intensive than kayaking, SUP makes exercise fun again.

We’ll go through the basics. We’ll start by getting you setup with the correct paddle and board, for your size and ability. Next we’ll head out to the calm and quiet bay directly behind the Surf N Sea shop and begin our introduction to the newest craze in surf culture. We’ll take our time getting comfortable on the board before paddling. Stand Up Paddle is the perfect family activity, with no age restrictions, and available for anyone who can swim!

Display price is per person for a one-hour lesson. You may also book a two-hour lesson at $85 per person or a two-hour private lesson at $170 per person.
