Kailua Beach Adventures is the most complete watersports company in Hawaii with an emphasis on improving stewardship for our natural environment through education and enjoyment. We provide kayak rentals and guided tours, snorkeling rentals, stand up paddle boards and beach activities. Our shop is located one block from Kailua Beach Park with free parking, showers, locker rentals and dressing rooms for your convenience. Kailua Beach is located in a small beach town on the lush, eastern shore of Oahu, thirty minutes from Honolulu and Waikiki Beach.

Visit Popoiʻa Island and find the nesting sea-birds that these islands are protected for. The Koʻolau Mountain Range and Dormant Volcanoes create a backdrop full of Hawaiian and geological history to learn about.

Self-Guided Kayaking Discovery

Explore Kailua’s reef protected waters at your own pace on this day of coastal discovery. Kayak to offshore islands, hidden tide pools, and remote beaches. All levels and ages welcome. Includes Lunch and Hotel Pick-up. Explore Kailua Bay at your own pace or take the kids out for the family adventure of a lifetime. Choose between several offshore islands to land on including the Mokulua Island bird-nesting sanctuaries. Stop and go for a dip along the way and enjoy a beautiful, deserted beach.

Stand Up Paddle (SUP) Lesson

Why lay down when you can stand up? Learn to stand up paddle, or SUP, in Kailua. This ancient water sport has made a major comeback with the help of new board technology, increasing the performance and ease of riding. Stand up paddling combines the thrill of surfing with the techniques of paddling, a match made in heaven. Kailua offers a variety of conditions, from flat water cruising to moderate chop and rolling waves. Lessons generally stick to the calmest areas to practice basic strokes and techniques.
